Hi. My name is Jack Deese and in this article I want to continue to share with you some exciting information about my very favorite Flight Simulator. Be sure to watch all 20 of the Flight Simulator Seminar videos located at http://www.TopFlightSim.com so you too can learn how to fly your favorite airplanes and helicopters anywhere in the world you choose, any time of the day or night, in any weather good or bad AND without ever leaving the comfort of your home.

Three Lever Throttle Quadrant

Upgrade your flight simulation experience with good Throttle Quadrant. This makes an ideal addition to the Flight Yoke System to expand the number of controls for your flight simulation setup.

Set the levers to control aircraft throttles, adjust elevator trim, fuel mixture or even to engage reverse thrust during landing. A good Throttle Quadrant will work in any major flight simulation to give you all the control you need.

Of course you can control your aircraft throttle, adjust elevator trim and fuel mixture, etc. from your keyboard and mouse. However, I think you can see the extra dimension of reality offered by a functional throttle control that makes your Flight Sim Pro perform with the feel of a real airplane.

Flight Simulation Controls:

Consider a Throttle Quadrant that is USB compatible. This Throttle Quadrant can easily be configured for twin engine or multi-engine use with simple cap replacements. This unit really enhances the flight simulation experience when flying twin engine or multi- engine aircraft.

Personal Computer based flight simulators are becoming increasingly popular due to the quickly escalating costs of flying, and the fact that they are just plane fun to fly!

Above is the new Boeing 7xx replica throttle quadrant. It fits in the range of semi-scale, single and twin engine throttle quadrants that create the proper look and feel for your simulator. Throttle quadrants are available in piston propeller, turbine propeller, and jet versions.

The new 7xx throttle quadrant includes individual engine throttles, thrust reverser actuation with detent lockouts, flap control, speed brake, auto throttle cutout, and engine/fuel switches. If you are ready to upgrade to a professional throttle quadrant, you should consider the VR throttle quadrant.

So if you’re looking for the very best flight simulator or helicopter flight simulator, you’ll find all your desires and needs at the World’s Best Helicopter Flight Simulator located at www.TopFlightSim.com.

When you want to obtain a position as a corporate flight attendant, you will realize that they are very few advertisements for jobs of this nature. Well. You might ask, how does one manage to get hired in one of the corporate flight attendant positions because this job does exist. You do have to keep your ears open so that if you hear of such a position you can submit your resume right away.

You cannot just get a job as a corporate flight attendant right out of high school.. This type of jobs requires experience as a flight attendant with a major airline. Airlines used to hire people in these positions and train them in their own schools, but now they look for candidates that have college or university training. This is because of the nature of the job that requires them to be able to work in a stressful situation when weather is rough and passengers become distraught. You also have to have a good nerve to work in this profession and be able to handle emergency situations and crashes.

Knowledge of FAA regulations is also essential because whether you are a regular flight attendant or a corporate flight attendant, your primary duty is the safety of the passengers on the aircraft. You must be fluent in the language of the country in which the company is based as well as one of more of the languages of the countries in which the corporation conducts business.

Once you are established in the profession and have a job with a major airline, then you can be on the lookout for a well paid position as a corporate flight attendant. This means you should be able to make cold calls to potential employers that you find out may be interested in hiring attendants. This can also mean calling friends who know of such positions and they can keep their ears open for possible employment for you.

Attending conferences and meetings will also bring you into contact with people who are in the know of such positions. You can even frequent places where you know pilots hang out and then by getting to know them you can put the word out that you are looking for such a job. The pilots of corporate aircraft will know if their employers are hiring attendants for their jets.

Local airports also sponsor seminars at various times of the year when they invite corporations and those who use the airport for their private planes. Attending these functions will also put you in contact with owners of jets who just may be interested in your skills.

If you have culinary skills in combination with your flight attendant training, you will be in a good position to get hired for this type of job. This is because preparing meals will be part of your job, and not just ordinary meals. The meals served on these aircraft re gourmet meals. Having knowledge of wines and being able to make the plates look very attractive is also a bonus.

In selecting a flight school, you will or have already learned that there are two types of instruction offered at flight schools. To become a pilot in the United States, you learn under either FAR Part 141 or FAR Part 61 flight regulations. FAR, which stands for Federal Aviation Regulations, are a very large set of rules and regulations provided by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).

Over time, as you become a pilot, you will become very familiar with many of the rules which are laid out in the FARs. But in terms of our discussion, FAR Part 141 means the flight school provides a more formal way of learning for the student. Learning is more structured under FAR Part 141. FAR Part 61 means flight schools provide a less structured form of learning.

What this means is that the hours required for the various certifications are less for those who learn at FAR Part 141 schools. For example, a Private Pilot Certificate may be achieved in 35 hours of flight time under Part 141, rather than 40 hours under Part 61. But in reality, this really doesn’t mean much, because the national average for number of hours needed to obtain the Private Pilot License is 60 to 75 hours. Also, a Commercial Pilot Certificate may be achieved in 190 hours of flight time under Part 141, rather than 250 hours under Part 61.

So does this mean you should select a FAR Part 141 flight school in order to gain the necessary certifications. No, not necessarily. You should select a flight school based on the type of learning you prefer. Many students do much better in a less formal type of learning environment. After your training, regardless of what type of flight school you attended, your certifications are the same. A Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot License, CFI, and other certifications, can all be obtained from either a FAR Part 141 or a FAR Part 61 flight school.

As a matter of fact, your FAA flight examiner does not care what type of school you attended. His or her concern is solely about whether or not you can fly an airplane. The examiner also wants to make sure you have the necessary knowledge to back up your flying skill. So, select either a FAR Part 141 or FAR 61 flight school based on the style of learning you prefer.

After you have decided on the type of flight school, the next step is to ask yourself the question, why do I want to become a pilot? Your answer to this question will also help you decide on the type of flight school you choose. Here we are not talking about FAR Part 141, or FAR Part 61. If you decide that you want to become a professional pilot, then you want to find a flight school which can help you achieve this goal.

The reason for this is because almost all pilots who want to fly as a professional, need to build flight time, and the only real economical way to build hours is to fly as an instructor. This means you should find a flight school which will allow you to gain your Certified Flight Instructor rating, and preferably that same flight school also takes on their own graduates as flight instructors to work at their flight school. But it is not just building hours that are important. It is building the right type of hours.

For example, if you desire to become a crop dusting pilot, you are in a much better position to gain a crop dusting job if you build hours in conventional gear (tail wheel) airplanes. Also, if you want to become a professional pilot, you want to have a diversity of flying experiences in different types of aircraft. So for the crop duster, he or she should have a diversity of flying experiences which includes both conventional gear and tri-gear, but with most of the flight hours in conventional gear aircraft.

To take this a step further, if most of your flying hours are in conventional gear aircraft, you also want to have diversity of flying in terms of conventional gear aircraft as well. Again, assuming you want to fly as a crop duster. This means fly just about every type of tail wheel airplane you can get your hands on, after appropriate check out with an instructor off course.

The point is, the greater the number of different flying experiences you have, the better. Even if you do not desire to become a professional pilot, and you decide to fly for recreation only, you still want to develop a diversity of flying experiences. This will increase your level of safety. So what does this mean in terms of flight school selection. This means you should select a flight school which provides a large selection of different types of airplanes that you can later get checked out in. Select a flight school that provides both tri gear and conventional gear aircraft.

Also, select a flight school that provides an aerobatic course. And take that course after you become a certified Private Pilot. You need to be able to instinctively recover from unusual flight attitudes, in case the situation ever arises during your flying in the future. This is true for all pilots, regardless of whether you want to become a professional pilot or a pilot who flies solely for recreation. If they do not have a aerobatic course, at least as a bare minimum, learn actual spin recovery from an instructor who is proficient in the technique.

Finally, when selecting a flight school, choose one where they have an instructor you feel comfortable with. This means choose an instructor which you feel is compatible with your style of learning. And since you will be shoulder to shoulder with your instructor while flying, it also helps to make sure your personality is compatible with the personality of the instructor. Finding the right instructor is probably the most important component in terms of learning how to fly.

So to conclude, when selecting a flight school, choose either a FAR Part 141 or FAR Part 61 flight school based on the style of learning you prefer. Determine why you want to become a pilot. If you desire to become a professional pilot, select a school which can help you obtain a CFI position. Also, select a flight school which has a diverse fleet of aircraft. Finally, in order to increase your level of safety, make sure the flight school offers an aerobatic course. If you follow these steps, you will find that learning to fly an airplane can be one of the most enjoyable learning experiences that you can have in your life time. And yes, you can fulfill that archetypical dream.

Article Source: http://www.articlesbase.com/ – What Should You Get From a Helicopter Flight Simulator Game

The initial thing that I search for in a helicopter flight sim game is how many uncommon simulator ways they offer me. What I mean by this is how many special air lines and helicopters can I fly. I like flying helicopters, but I too like flying fighter airplane as well as passenger air liners. If you are going to procure a flying sim game, make definite they are giving you more than just a helicopter or 2 . A helpful rule of thumb for me is not to procure anything with fewer than 20 unique jet options. Anything less than that, I deem that it is not significance the purchase.

The next thing that I search for in all of my helicopter flying sim games is simply how real looking game play is. Now I do not necessarily mean how the aircraft reacts to the controls, but just how life like the surroundings are. I want to see the Eiffel Tower and Grand Canyon! I do not want to see boring scenery. It needs to be as real-life as achievable. When you fly into an air-port, you ought to be capable to know it! It is these features that make a helicopter flight simulator game so neat. If you cannot get the real-life feeling, what is the point of using the game?

The last thing that I always check out at is the value. I am not into paying 0 for a simulator game. Yes I need it to be as life like as achievable, but I cannot afford to spend that kind of cash on a video game. Excellence does matter, but it does not mean it has to bust the bank. Take it from me, you can unearth a grand flight helicopter simulator game for below if you do your inquiries. What is still better is that you do not lose any of the performance that you as a rule get from an posh helicopter flying simulator game.

Are you looking for some real life flying fun? A flying experience you have always wanted to have.

You can fly through endless skies all around the world with a professional flight simulator. Flight simulators today feature accurate scenery that has been based on actual military mapping. These simulators can include more than 20,000 airports that you can land on around the world. Maybe you would like to fly a helicopter flight simulator.

These simulators give you access to more than a hundred different planes so you can practically choose to fly any kind of aircraft you like. Some flight sims have been made with flight models from NASA and feature terrain mapping from the US Defense Mapping Agency.

These software programs are so good, you can truly experience how it is to fly up in the skies. If you are after some real life flying experience, this is the way you can do it. The most realistic flight sims feature every bit of detail when it comes to terrain, planetary alignments and movements, and aircraft reactions.

You can really feel how cool it is to fly your dream plane in any of the kinds of conditions you want to fly in. Most computer flight simulators can be used with standard hardware commonly found in a home computer, though you may choose to add some additional items. The flight control occurs through the mouse and keyboard, and the cockpit instruments inside the planes are displayed on the computer screen. Purchasing a joystick can better simulate the experience of realistic flight. There are three primary categories of flight simulators: traditional flight simulators, combat flight simulators, and science fiction flight simulators. Traditional flight simulators allow players to fly various types of aircraft in a realistic environment. These also include helicopter flight simulators. You could fly in an air show, land at an airport, or take off from a small private airfield. All examples of possible game play in a traditional flight simulator. These simulators re-create a real aircraft piloting experience. Flight simulator games can be found both online and in stores for either a PC or console.

They feature beautiful real life scenery and realistic missions, helicopter flight simulator games are a great way to experience the world of flying without leaving the comforts of home. Flight simulators are realistic and are designed from the characteristics of real airplanes. The computer simulated cockpits closely resemble the cockpits of genuine aircraft. The control panels are incredibly realistic and help the gamer experience what it is like to be a pilot.

They mimic real life flying by creating scenarios that actually occur in reality. Gamers must pay attention to details such as speed, turbulence, height, and a number of other things in order to keep their plane in the sky.

Pilots in the games must land the planes like true pilots making sure that the planes’ descent, angle, and landing gear are correct in order to put the plane on the ground safely. These games contain high quality graphics which allow you a realistic flying experience.

Airports are designed to look like those found throughout the world with details including people and equipment. Avoiding other planes in the sky and on the runway and dealing with unexpected weather are examples of what you can experience while flying. Simulator games have a variety of backgrounds for you to choose from and each contain graphics which closely resemble what is found in real life.

Almost Upside Down at Night: With all of your flight training, there will be times when you get the notion that your instructor is mean or doesn’t know what they are talking about—perhaps not in such a bold way, but it will happen. This brings me to a story I have of a night cross-country with a student.

The flight itself is a pretty simple one and is safe for night flights. The flight goes from Mesa Falcon Field to Wickenberg, Arizona. I have personally put this flight in my syllabus for many reasons. I have gotten into many arguments with instructors who worked for me about this flight. Several of them refused to do the flight and instead ended up taking the student down to Tucson. As far as I am concerned, this defeats the purpose of the night cross-country. Following a big lit-up highway in between two bright major cities does not expose you to the real situations that can happen on a night cross-country.

Don’t let your instructor take you to an easy-to-find destination that is lit up like New York City. Go somewhere that is pretty difficult to find, at least for you, not your instructor. Yes, you want to make sure the instructor knows where he is going to land in the event of an engine failure, but you need to be on a flight that can get you into a little bit of trouble if you aren’t paying attention.

Back to my story.

I will call the student John. You know that I am totally against using all these high-tech things for private pilot training and even instrument ratings. Remember what job number one of the pilot is ? Yes, fly the airplane! I have also already stated that it will take you about 500 hours before you have this second sense stuck in you inner memory. Even then, a difficult situation will be a battle between many parts of your brain at the same time.

John called me in the afternoon about his night flight. We verified the time, and at the end of the call, John stated that he had just gotten his new Garmin 95 latest-and-greatest GPS device and asked if he could bring it along. You probably know me pretty well by now and know exactly what my answer was: “No!”

John showed up at the airport with his cross-country planned and flight plan filed, and ready to go. Before we walked out of the office, out came that shiny new Garmin box. “Fred, you need to check this out . . . this is the new Garmin 95, top-of-the–line, latest-and-greatest . . . ” This was back in 1996. Garmin was a no-name back then and was just getting into the market.

“Please, please, please can we take it with us?” After all the begging, I finally gave in. Deep in my mind somewhere, I had a little smile, and a voice just said, “Okay.”

Before John even started his pre-flight, he set up his new Garmin 95 on the control column. I knew right then that we were in for a good time! I told John that he couldn’t turn it on until we got out of Phoenix airspace, which is right where it starts to get nice and dark. He said, “Okay, no problem.”

We took off and headed west as planned. John was right on the money with all of his checkpoints and times. Flight plan opened at the right time. He was getting an A+ at this stage of the ball game. We got about five miles west of Deer Valley airport, where it starts to get nice and dark. (Again, don’t do a night cross-country when there is a full moon! It is nice to see the big bright moon from 4,500 above the ground, but it makes your night cross-country easier. If you are doing your first night flight as a licensed pilot with your girlfriend/boyfriend, go for it—that is the safe thing to do.)

John looked at me with those puppy eyes and asked, “Can I turn it on?” At this point, I just looked at him and said, “Yes.” The little voice in my head spoke to me again, “Now it is time for the real lesson to begin.”

John turned on the new greatest gift to mankind. The screen came on, and he said, “Look, Fred, isn’t this great? It tells you everything!” The little voice in my head said, “Yeah. Right. It tells you everything except what your #1 job in an airplane is.”

John kept playing with his new toy. I learned way back in 1989 that there are times when the flight instructor’s job is to shut up and let the student go. This was definitely one of those times.

At first, John had it under control. He was following his line on the screen and was okay, but I knew that sooner or later, it was going to distract him from his number one job . . . Yes, fly the airplane!

A little while passed, and John decided to start playing with the screen options. I knew now that the big lesson had begun, so I just sat there. Slowly, his altitude started to go up and down—not very much at first, but I knew it was just going to get worse.

I looked at John, and his head was down looking right at the GPS. By the way, the time frame of this entire lesson was probably less than a minute.

John continued to look down and said, “Hm, I can’t find the screen I am looking for.” I just sat there. Slowly, he started a right turn, only a few degrees bank, heading right into the mountains. The plane began to slowly lose altitude as the right turn started to get steeper. There was no horizon at all, so John had no clue of what was going on. Luckily, he was one of the students that took my aerobatic option before solo, so he was familiar with extreme unusual attitude. But not at night.

Slowly but surely, the plane had entered the dreaded graveyard spiral at cruise power setting. I waited and waited, hoping that the sound of the wind howling across the airplane would give him a clue, but nope—he had been trained for this many times, but he didn’t pick it up.

The plane kept going into a steeper bank. If it had been daytime, I would have let him get upside down, but not at night. Finally, it was time to open my mouth. “Anything wrong?”

John looked up, and the string of four-letter words began to flow. He got the plane under control. Power back wings level and nose level. However, he was still heading on the quickest path to meet God, right into the mountains a few miles north of the very dimly lit highway I plan as my emergency landing spot.

I said to him, “What can you see in front of you?” “He replied with, “Nothing.” I said, “So that means . . . ?” I got the reply, “I am flying right into the ground.” That answer was pretty much correct; with his new heading, he was flying straight into the hills. Since we lost about 1,500 feet, our altitude was perfect for the big smack.

I raised my voice slightly and said, “If you can’t see anything, you are in trouble. Find some light, start climbing, and head in that direction.”

John got the plane under control, turned the GPS off, and we had an uneventful flight to Wickenberg and then back home to Falcon Field.

When we got back on the ground, John said, “I think I am going to learn to fly before I worry about that GPS.” He also requested some night unusual attitude training. I also highly recommend this.

So again, the little lesson is fly the airplane! John got distracted from that job by

Requirements for Private Jet Flight Attendants

The requirements for private jet flighty attendants are the same as they are for regular flight attendants. This is because in order to become a flight attendant you must pass the rigorous training provided by airlines.

Some of the major airlines have their own training facilities and those who don’t use the facilities of these airlines. The training lasts about 12 weeks and you aren’t considered to be a flight attendant until you have completed and passed every component of the training.

While the minimum education requirement is graduation from high school, more and more airlines are only accepting applicants with some college or university training. There are colleges who do offer courses in flight attendant training, but this does not take the place of that offered by the airlines. Many of the flight attendants have university degrees or experience in the medical field.

Some have training as firefighters or police officers. This education gives the flight attendants experience in dealing with emergencies, especially today in the light of all the terrorist activities that have taken place.

Emergency training includes being able to give first aid and being able to quiet unruly passengers who can also disrupt other passengers. Airlines fee that applicants who have had life experience in a job or as s student in university are more mature than those just graduating from high school and a re better prepared to cope with stressful situations, should they arise.

Once you do pass this training, then you qualify for a license as a flight attendant. This is a requirement by the government agency handling matters related to aviation in all countries. In the US, this is the FAA and in Canada it is Transport Canada. In addition to having good grooming habits and not being overweight, you will have to pass a physical exam. The airline will also do a thorough background check to make sure you do not have a criminal record. In addition, you will need to have a passport for flying to international destinations.

Once you meet all these requirements and are certified as a flight attendant, then you can look into the possibilities of becoming a flight attendant on a private jet. Prior experience dealing with passengers in the first-cabin of a passenger jet is an asset, but it is not a requirement.

It is important that you have culinary skills and knowledge of proper food handling techniques. While there is no certification as a private flight attendant, there are courses you can take on your own to give you the skills you need. In addition, the companies that cater the food for these jets will also provide training in how to arrange the food on the plate, what wines are best served with the foods and how to make sure you make the plates look attractive. The courses are costly, but they are only about 5 days in duration and could give you a great raise in salary and a great job.

Mystique of a Flight Attendant

Of course the job itself is not always glamorous, but most people do not possess the mobility of the flight attendant to see the world while they are still young enough to enjoy it. What is it about a flight attendant that makes little kids longingly stare and adults charmed and envious? Could it be the lifestyle and freedom to jet away to faraway places? The uniform? The star quality of these chosen few?

Maybe it is all these things, and more. I remember viewing a children’s program at about age 6, seeing the flight attendant standing in the doorway of a large airplane, wearing a military- looking uniform, with shiny wings on her jacket. How elegant and important she looked working on the airplane! I decided right then and there that this was what I wanted to be someday. To me, it wasn’t just a job – it was a life!

Initially, the first cabin attendants were men who helped maintain the integrity of the airplanes while swatting flies and lifting mailbags. Then in the 1930’s female attendants were hired as stewardesses or hostesses and worked on piston engine or propeller aircraft, such as the Curtiss Condor. Their duties included providing sandwiches and thermoses of water and passing out gum and cotton to provide comfort for passengers’ ears. These flight attendants originally were registered nurses, but this requirement was dropped in the 1940’s. The job was now considered glamorous and even though many young women wanted to become airline stewardesses, only a few were chosen. In those days when stewardesses got married, they were terminated.

By the 1960’s, men were on the job. United Airlines hired eight men from Hawaii to fly their Hawaiian routes. As a result of the influx of males from that point, Eastern Airlines created the job title of “flight attendant”. The job held wide appeal to men and women and it became commonplace for flight attendants to be male or female, young or older, married or single, any race, even parents. The salaries were beginning to climb – airline fever had claimed more lives!

Once you have “the fever”, it will be with you for the rest of your life; there is no cure, and anyone who has never experienced a flight attendant career will never comprehend just how powerful it is. Flight crews are very close comrades as a result of having this unique passion in common. There is a wide belief that the job is a daring and unusual dream experience; flight attendants are considered to be gutsy individuals who regard the world as their playground.

Of course, those of us who fly know that in reality the job is hard work, sometimes with long hours and grouchy customers. It is difficult to find the glamour in your job when you are down on your hands and knees in the galley, going through tray carriers looking for someone’s lower dentures they left on a tray! Or working a 14-hour day due to a mechanical delay. Or dealing with a planeload of airsick passengers during heavy turbulence. These things are all part and parcel of a flight attendant’s job. But the fun and excitement far outweighs these things, and I don’t know many flight attendants who would trade it all in for a nine-to-fiver!

The charisma has as much to do with the look of flight attendants as the places they travel. These sharply dressed men and women who serve you meals or beverages in the air seem to be the epitome of romance; what will they do when they are off duty – shop in Rome? Party in Frankfurt? Catch glass beads at a Mardi Gras parade? Tour the Pyramids or Catacombs? What celebrities do they commonly meet and what interesting stories could they tell about these people?

Each airline has a unique uniform, smartly tailored, complete with the airline logo and wings. Wings are earned, and flight attendants go to a lot of trouble to get them! Training is sometimes long and arduous. Flight attendant trainees must not only be strong and resourceful but intelligent, healthy and energetic to graduate.

Possibly the most important component of the aura of mystery surrounding the flight attendant is the fact that that which is difficult to obtain is often the most coveted. Not just anyone can become a flight attendant; thousands of flight attendant wannabes apply for these jobs every month, but few are chosen. Statistics show that on average, less than 10% of those who apply are selected for the job. What separates the people chosen from the ones left behind? That is part of the magic, and sometimes it is not something that can be even put into words. After meeting the requirements, applicants must convey a certain persona to the recruiter, and the recruiters are adept in discovering those who have what it takes.

No one can say for sure just what the charm of a flight attendant is. But I remember the look on a young man’s face on one of my flights. He was taking his first airplane ride and gazed up at me with wonder, and asked, “is this what you do for your job – meet people and fly to different places all the time? Kewl.”

There has long been a debate on the advantages of Part 141 versus Part 61 training. Student pilots are confused by the differences and are therefore unable to determine how to make the most of the benefits offered by each.

The following remains the same, regardless of whether your train under Part 141 or Part 61: 1)Written tests. 2)Oral exam in check ride. 3)Flight portion of the check ride. 4)License issued.

Measurement of success is the same at both types of schools: 1)Instructors make or break the school. Knowledgeable, experienced instructors are key. 2)Some flight schools have a high dropout ratio. Successful schools should have at least 90% of the students they train attain the certificates and ratings they signed up for. 3)Aircraft maintenance is important. Students should very seldom have flight lessons cancelled due to aircraft being grounded. 4)The school accident record should be zero or close to zero, indicating that the school places a high value on your safety.

On the surface, it looks like all helicopter flight schools are very similar. This is why it is so useful to understand the differences between Part 141 and Part 61. The two biggest differences are: 1)Part 141 training requires following an FAA approved Training Course Outline (TCO). Part 61 does not require a TCO be used at all. 2)The flight school itself and the Chief Flight Instructor have to meet stringent FAA requirements. Part 61 is not subject to these FAA requirements.

Let’s start with Part 61 helicopter training and flight schools. The majority of helicopter flight schools in the USA today are Part 61 flight schools. Many Part 61 helicopter flight schools start off with one certified flight instructor and one helicopter. The flight instructor offers one-on-one training to prospective students and teaches the student as he or she sees fit. If the instructor is good, more students join the school and the owner purchases additional helicopters and hires more instructors to meet the demand.

There are no FAA inspections required for a Part 61 helicopter flight school. The flight school is free to train their students using their own chosen methods. They are expected to follow the rules and regulations in the FAR/AIM for Part 61 flight schools and training, but are not subject to FAA inspections to confirm that they are doing this.

Part 141 training and flight schools have to meet very specific requirements and standards. The helicopter flight school itself is issued an Air Agency Certificate when it passes the FAA inspections. Facilities and aircraft that will be used for Part 141 training are inspected. The Chief Flight Instructor is required to take an annual check ride with the FAA.

On the training side, the flight school submits a separate and distinct Training Course Outline (TCO) to the FAA for each certificate and/or rating that they want to teach under Part 141. For example, a Private Pilot TCO would be submitted. This contains lesson plans for both Flight and Ground training. The flight school would have to submit another TCO for Instruments if they wanted to teach Instrument ratings under Part 141.

Don’t assume that a Part 141 helicopter flight school offers all their certificates and ratings under Part 141. Many only obtain FAA certification for Private, Instrument and Commercial certificates. It takes a lot of work for the flight school to create TCO’s and to teach under Part 141. The FAA requires that the flight school keep extensive student documentation for Part 141, including very detailed information on student progress. This is great for the student. It is time consuming for the flight school.

There are a few very large flight schools that only offer Part 141 training. They have set schedules for their classes and teach many students at the same time. They also have regimented flight schedules. These few very large flight schools often have a very high ratio of foreign versus domestic students. This is because SEVIS (Student Exchange Visitor Information System) requires that flight schools be FAA certified as a Part 141 flight school in order to apply for permission to train international students. The Veterans Association (VA) has the same Part 141 requirement for veterans to use their VA benefits.

Most Part 141 schools also offer Part 61 training for the same programs. For example, you may choose to do your Private Pilot under Part 141 or Part 61. Schools that offer both training methods provide the most flexibility to the student.

The student attending a Part 141 helicopter flight school gets all the benefits of attending a Part 141 school even if they choose to do some or all of their training under Part 61. This is due to the school being subject to random FAA inspections. They have to maintain their high standards at all times to retain their certification.

The disadvantage of Part 141 training is that the TCO has to be followed in the sequence written. Every student learns differently and some people prefer the flexibility of Part 61 training, which enables the student to cover materials in the sequence appropriate for him or herself.

This brings to light another advantage to a flight school that offers both Part 141 and Part 61 training. They will often use the TCO for your Part 61 training. This is great for the student pilot as you get the benefit of a structured Training Course Outline that is FAA certified, while at the same time being able to cover materials in the order that suits you best.

Another advantage to training at a school that offers both is that you can mix and match your training. For example, I did my Private Pilot under Part 61 as I wanted the flexibility to jump around in the curriculum. Flying instruments is very structured and is about learning procedures, so I choose to do my instrument training under Part 141. I found the structured approach and learning sequence worked really well for my Instrument training. I went back to Part 61 for my Commercial training.

Learning to fly a helicopter is fun, exciting and expensive. Learn all you can about your helicopter flight school and the programs they offer before making your final decision. Fly safe!

Airline Jobs 101 – Launching Your Flight Attendant Career

If you are interested in becoming a airline fight attendant, you can choose between regional carriers, major airlines, or charter services. Working as a flight attendant for a regional carrier means that you will be working close to home, while a position with a major airline will give you the opportunity to travel internationally. Charter airlines are smaller services that cater to corporate or individual clients who want the flexibility to fly on their own schedule.

Once you have narrowed down the type of airline you would like to work for, go online and visit each one’s website. This is a great way to get some background information about the company’s history, destinations they serve, and available job openings for flight attendants. To find out how to apply for a position as a flight attendant, click on the “Careers,” “Jobs,” or “About Us” section of the site.

Follow the instructions on the website about how to apply for a position. A potential employer always appreciates when candidates demonstrate they are able to follow instructions correctly. If you are asked to fill in an online form, then do so. Most of them will allow you to submit your resume as well. Some employers prefer that you submit a resume and a cover letter by e-mail, and a few still request that job applicants contact them by regular mail.

A flight attendant career will appeal to someone who enjoys traveling, is friendly and outgoing, and has a positive attitude. Excellent people skills are a necessity for this type of position, since you will be dealing with the public. Being flexible is a major asset to flight attendant applicants, since new hires will likely start by filling in where needed, as opposed to having a set flight schedule each week.

The ability to remain calm and focused in difficult situations is also important; the flight attendant is responsible for passenger safety while they are on board the aircraft. For example, if the passengers needed to be evacuated from the plane, the flight attendants take charge of the situation and direct passengers to the nearest exit.

When you are called for an interview with an airline for a flight attendant position, you should dress neatly and conservatively. Wearing a dark-colored suit is considered appropriate. Check your shoes for run-down heels and have them repaired, if necessary, before your meeting.

This is not the occasion for women to experiment with an extreme hairstyle or heavy makeup. You want your prospective employer to be able to see you in the role of a flight attendant, so stick to a classic hairstyle and use a light touch when applying your makeup. Male applicants should keep their hair short, and if they wear a beard or a mustache, they should be neatly trimmed.

Jewelry should be kept to a minimum. A wedding ring (or wedding set) for women is appropriate, along with a watch. If you choose to wear earrings, a simple metallic or pearl stud will make a better impression than large or dangly styles.

At the interview, you will want to demonstrate your people skills. Don’t forget to smile, and do mention situations where you were able to remain patient in difficult situations. If you can, describe a situation where you were able to stay calm in an emergency.

If the interview goes well, you will be invited to attend a training session to start your new career as a flight attendant. If you are not hired at this point, you can apply at another airline or wait six months and reapply to your first choice of employer. It’s a tough job market, currently, but airlines are still advertising flight attendant jobs online.

Real Flying With RC Helicopter Flight Simulator

Helicopter flight simulators have shown up with aircraft games from time to time and because of its popularity these games have expanded into a more sophisticated hobby. Due to the passion of RC helicopter enthusiasts this love has translated into the release of a more exciting type of flight game such as the RC helicopter flight simulator.

RC helicopter simulators now allow you to experience flying as if it was for real and this has been the big difference that brought about a more exciting and life like way of flying through these helicopter simulators. Now instead of playing the same ole flight games common to all of us now you will now have an edge in flying not just helicopters but other aircrafts as well such as Cessnas, Boeings, Beechcrafts and other aircraft models from your computer system.

The great news about these state of the art flight simulators is that they have added so many features that would add up to your flight experience and let you feel what it’s like when flying a helicopter or a plane. With the addition of these features the experience of the user is more focused on bringing the RC helicopter flight simulator game into another level. Instead of experiencing the ordinary background, now you will be able to see a more realistic scenery which includes, lakes, railroads, cities, rivers that resembles that of the real world.

With the explosion of technology related to helicopter and flight simulators it has been quite a discovery of a new class of player for it hasn’t only been popular for aircraft enthusiasts but it has also trained professional pilots in terms of familiarizing themselves in maneuvering various aircrafts without having to risk themselves to danger. So now these flight simulators don’t just have one but a double purpose to help an individual to learn how to fly a specific aircraft properly and at the same time let him enjoy the whole experience.

The challenge that is now facing you is to find the right RC helicopter flight simulator that will meet your expectations.
All you have to do is to search online for the top aircraft simulator software providers that are capable of providing all of the information you want and include downloads free for their members. You may find a few that would ask you to join and be a member for free, while others may ask for you to sign up for a promotional offer. It is up to you to decide which aircraft software you’ll go for. With enough information about the software, you can assure yourself that you’ll never go wrong with your choice.

Through my research the flight simulator that stands out over the rest is Flight Pro Sim. Take a look at everything that is included with the software and you will be completely satisfied.

Nurse, Turned Flight Instruction School Owner/pilot Extraordinaire

On a recent Sunday afternoon, this writer caught up with a successful woman business owner, whose flight instruction and general aviation business is physically located at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California. But, how did Evelyn A. Carlson, a Nursing Instructor at St. John College in Cleveland, Ohio ultimately emerge as a partner in a Learn to Fly business on the West Coast and become a pilot extraordinaire. Here’s the story.

As an intermediate step, Carlson began to teach both Nursing and Flight Instruction as an Assistant Professor in two different departments at Kent State University, one of which was Technology (think Flying). Lyn commented that both of these teaching endeavors were not so dissimilar as they might seem at first glance. Sure, the data itself was different, but not the process. Both had scientific and technical aspects; each involved manipulating equipment; and both at times required instantaneous decisions.

Of course, as we age and experience a wide range of different life circumstances, a number of unexpected choices emerge. Just ask Lyn Carlson if that didn’t happen to her. Further, some of the chapters in our lives take place before age 50, while other parts of our life evolve later.

Along the way, Lyn served in the Peace Corps in Nyeri, Kenya, where she taught nursing. Further, during graduate school, Carlson received a National Institute of Health full scholarship and living expenses stipend. In 1974, Lyn completed her MSN from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. After completion of her Master’s degree, she initially began teaching nursing at the baccalaureate level. But, then, her love for flying plus her advanced degree combined to also allow her to teach flying in Kent, Ohio, too. At the time, Lyn was 35 years old.

For the next four years, Lyn arrived at the airport early in the morning, where she served as the flying instructor from 7 AM until Noon. Then, she would teach nursing in the afternoon. Finally, she would drive back to the School of Technology building on campus at the end of the day to serve as an assistant professor in Technology, where she taught the evening ground schools until 9 or 10 PM. What a schedule this dedicated teacher and flight instructor kept in those days.

As a pilot, she joined the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) in 1979 as member # 006905147. During 1981, Lyn won the Amelia Earhart Medal by finishing 1st place in one of the events at the National Intercollegiate Flying Association meet, which was held at the University of North Dakota. By 1982, Carlson was already listed in Who’s Who of American Women.

In her case, the circumstance, which led Lyn to move back to California “right back where she started from” went like this. Due to the declining health of her grandparents, who held a special place in Lyn’s heart, she returned to the Golden State to spend time with them and help care for them. Back in California, Carlson also began to hand out resumes and, ultimately, wound up as Chief Flight Instructor at Sunrise Aviation in Santa Ana, California. So, she stayed in Southern California, where her family had long established ties, which actually went back four generations.

After joining the team at Sunrise as partner and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Lyn helped to develop FAA Approved Flight Training Programs, which included the writing of ground and flight training syllabi, as well as getting them approved by the FAA. She also supervised the training given by more than 25 other flight instructors. As Chief Instructor, she was ultimately responsible for certifying all student school records for accuracy and compliance. She also gave flight instruction herself and was responsible for Stage Checks.

Of course, Carlson was also a strong influence on the growth at Sunrise Aviation from just two smaller, single-engine aircraft at the outset to its 32 aircraft plus 25 flight instructors today. Raised originally in Redwood City, California, Lyn spent every summer in Newport Beach. Like her parents, she too attended UCLA, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing.

In her late 40s, Lyn actually flew solo across the Atlantic in a Rockwell 114 from El Monte, California to Guernsey, Channel Islands via Lakeland, Florida (where she stopped for tanking) to Gander, Newfoundland and Santa Maria in the Azores. Why had Carlson taken such a bold step? As a pilot, she was intent on getting everything possible out of her lifetime flying experience. This goal on her part made the trip inevitable.

Obviously, upon her return from this adventure, she became highly in demand as a speaker before local 99s in her area. The Ninety-Nines organization, which was founded in 1929 by 99 women pilots, existed then and now for the mutual support of its members. Not surprisingly, Amelia Earhart became the first president of one of these local groups in her area. During 1992 and 1993, Lyn continued to make additional motivational talks about flying solo across the Atlantic, while she also engaged in one-on-one teaching for men and women, who were considering the same type of flight.

Of special note, during 1995, Lyn Carlson was also chosen for the prestigious FAA National Flight Instructor of the Year Award. Winning at the local and regional FAA levels, the national selection committee was made up of representatives from all the major General Aviation organizations, which included the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the National Business Aircraft Association, the National Association of Flight Instructors, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association in addition to officials from the FAA itself. In fact, the entire process actually took four months to complete. What an honor for Lyn Carlson!

By 1998, Carlson had also added the additional title of Director of Training at Sunrise Aviation because her job duties and responsibilities also included student enrollment. Further, from 1995 until the present, Lyn has also administered the FAA computer knowledge exams in her area.

In addition, Lyn Carlson has also had the distinction of serving in each of the following capacities, which have included being a National Transportation Safety Board Consulted Party (during 1997-1998). In this instance, for example, Carlson reviewed data associated with a fatal student accident and wrote an official party report, which was included in the final accident write-up. Then, as an AOPA Flight Instructor Refresher Clinic Lecturer from 1997 until 2003, Lyn traveled throughout the US to present and discuss topics required by the FAA. One such topic was an in-depth review of 14 CFR Part 61: Certification for Pilots and Instructors. For its part, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association is one organization authorized by the FAA to offer the required 16 hour Flight Instructor Refresher Courses needed to renew someone’s Flight Instructor Certificate. She also continues to serve as a Designated Pilot Examiner. In this capacity, Carlson gives Pilot Practical Tests for Private, Instrument and Commercial candidates (in airplanes). The examination, in this instance, includes both an oral and an in-flight practical test. The DPE position actually represents an appointment by the FAA and, as such, is considered a prestigious one in the flying community. While the FAA does give these tests, staffing does not permit them to do the majority of Practical Exam flights at the General Aviation level. Therefore, DPEs are designated by the FAA to examine for proficiency to determine who gets pilot certificates in many instances.

Dedicated nurse, teacher, college professor, flight instructor and trainer, Lyn Carlson has today returned to her home state of California to do what she really loves and what all of the experiences in her life have prepared her to do: teach and fly herself. Most of us cannot do either. But, for those of us who live in Southern California, who desire to learn to fly, Lyn Carlson and her company would be a great place to start.

After all, as Cessna used to comment in its ads of yesterday, “If I can fly, you can fly.”

What You Need to Apply for Flight Attendant Openings

When you are looking for a job as a flight attendant, there are several places you can look to find flight attendant openings. Since the major employers in the air transportation business are airlines, you can check the websites of the airlines to see if they do have a need for flight attendants and are hiring. Some large corporations with private jets also have need for flight attendants from time to time and they may post the ads in magazines related to their business or to air travel. There are also job search sites on the Internet where you can find postings for flight attendant jobs. If you post your resume and cover letter to these sites, when an opening comes up you will get an email alerting you to the posting.

In order to determine whether or not you qualify for a flight attendant opening when it is posted, you do have to read the ad to find the qualifications that the employer is looking for in the applicants. The minimum level of education required by all airlines is a high school diploma, but this is just the minimum. Most of the flight attendants that are hired today have a college or university degree. Even though this education does not give you the training you need to work as a flight attendant, it shows the employer that you are willing to work hard in school to better yourself.

One of the major qualifications that you will need to be successful in obtaining a position as a flight attendant is exceptional customer service skills. You don’t necessarily need to have experience in this area because it will come with practice once you start the training for the job. However, if you do have experience and have a good reference to attest to this, you have a better chance of getting the job. Many people don’t even realize that they do have this experience and never put it on their resume because they think they should only list the skills that are related to other aspects of air travel. If you worked in any area in which you dealt with the public, you should list this on your resume as customer service.

Fluency in more than one language is one of the qualifications that will really make your application for the job stand out. Airlines fly all over the world and deal with customers that speak many different languages. Fluency in English is a requirement and unless you are fluent in English you will not get a job as a flight attendant in any English speaking country.

You do need to have a passport because of the different countries you will be flying into. You must also be neat in appearance, with no tattoos, visible body piercings or wear offensive jewellery. You must also be willing to relocate in some cases when you apply for one of the openings for flight attendants and of course, you must be willing to work shifts that will require you to be away from home for short periods of time.

Find Out the Flight Attendant Hiring Process

Since most airlines have their own training facilities for training flight attendants, the only main requirement in terms of education for this career is to hold a high school graduations diploma. However, today most airlines are delving deeper into the applications they receive for available positions and prefer college and university graduates in the flight attendant hiring process. One of the main things that airlines look for in the number of applications they receive is applicants who demonstrate a high level of customer service. This is because as a flight attendant, you would be interacting with customers (passengers) on a daily basis because in the position, you provide service to these people for the duration of the flight.

In order to submit an application for a job as a flight attendant, the first thing you have to do is find out which airlines are hiring. Once you know that a specific airline is posting ads for flight attendant jobs, then it is time to do your research. You have to read the ad thoroughly to find out what documents you must submit with your cover letter. You have to make sure you gather all the documents you need. Then you have to write a cover letter that will really stand out among the many submitted, so it is not a chore you should take lightly. If your cover letter doesn’t do a good job of giving the employer an adequate look at how you can be an asset to the airline, the person reading the letter may not even bother to read the rest of your resume.

Once you have everything in place and you write the best possible cover letter to submit with your application, you cross your fingers and hope to get a call for an interview. Airlines usually hire ten or more flight attendants at the same time because they want to have enough students for a class. They usually have their own training facilities to train those selected through the interviewing process. It is important to realize, though, that even while you may be selected to complete the flight attendant training, you will not be officially hired in this position until you pass the training with a score of at least 90%.

Along with the book work, assignments and tests, you will also have to go through several modules of on-the-job training. This involves taking part in mock evacuations so that you will be prepared for dealing with emergencies on board the plane. Your instructors will act as passengers and you will act as the flight attendant as part of the evaluation to determine your customer service skills. The training that you do have to go through is gruelling, but it is worth it when you get the job.

You have to demonstrate that when you are on the job, your focus is solely on the safety and security of the passengers. You do need to have an outgoing personality, but you will also need to exercise diplomacy and tact in many situations. This is what the examiners will be looking for in the hands-on parts of the training.

How To Find The Best Flight Instructor

Your very first flight instructor will have a lot of impact on your learning, that is why it’s important to find one who can make the training process pleasant, organized and worth all the time, effort and money you put into it. If becoming a pilot is your dream, here are some tips on how to choose the flight instructor who will best fit your needs:

Your flight instructor must be qualified. Your flight instructor became one because he or she earned an advanced pilot certificate. That means that they hold an airline or commercial transport pilot certificate. They can’t teach unless they have a flight instructor certificate or CFI. Look for this with your primary flight instructor.

Your instrument instructor, on the other hand, must have received his or her instrument instruction rating or CFII. You’ll need to meet some FAA requirements and if you received your training from unauthorized flight instructors, you may not be able to receive your pilot’s license. All your training hours and the cost that went with it will be for nothing.

Test fly your flight instructor. It’s a good idea to go with a potential flight instructor during a routine flight to observe how they fly and the way they teach. Most of them will offer an introductory flight anyway, so take advantage of the chance and see for yourself.

Your flight instructor should have a genuine interest to help you reach your goal and you should feel comfortable with his teaching style. However, he doesn’t have to be extra amiable to be the best choice. You want a flight instructor who will expect excellence, discipline and hard work. If he’s too lax and you’re undisciplined, you might have some problems with learning effectively.

Check if documentations are kept. There is no point of getting any training in aviation if your flight instructor or the school doesn’t keep accurate records. Documents will prove the type of training you have undergone and how many hours you have put in. You’ll need to fly a minimum number of hours to get your pilot’s license and if these can’t be corroborated, you might be forced to repeat your training.

Where to find them If you live near an airport, call them up and ask to speak to a flight instructor. You can also arrange to attend some classes taught at the school. Flight academies also often put ads in the yellow pages, so you might want to check those out, too.

Flight Attendant ? High Altitude Waitress or Aviation Professional

We get lots of emails and calls from people wanting to become flight attendants. As in any aviation job search you will need to do some research before you can make the right career choices and we welcome people visiting the site and asking questions.

Life as a Flight Attendant

As a flight attendant, your role is primarily to ensure the safety of the passengers. There have been many stories where flight attendants have acted heroically and saved many lives when aircraft find themselves in difficultly. The most notable recent story was of a flight attendant who found herself in the co-pilots’ seat after a pilot became ill!

Training

With safety being the priority, flight attendants spend many hours learning the drills and procedures that will be used in the event of an incident. The training is serious but can be fun. You will learn how to detect and fight a fire, how to use the special equipment, how to give first aid and how to evacuate an aircraft on the land and water. There are many airlines that offer some extra enrichment and introduce some principles of flight and aerodynamics.

The side of the flight attendants job we see most of is the service. This training varies massively from airline to airline. You will be introduced to the correct etiquette and the style of service expected by the airline.

Language

If employed as expat cabin crew there is often some language training and some cultural instruction so you don’t inadvertently cause offence to the passengers. There are some really good schools out there that tailor thier courses to the Aviation Industry such as our partner Aviation English. If you need to imporve your English its worth checking them out.

How do you get a job as a flight attendant?

Research is the key, check out the online resources and keep up date with the news online. Keep up to date with sites like Flight Crew Finder that do the reseach for you. Currently both British AIrways and Emirates are recruiting.

Network

Develop as many contacts as you can by using online tools and get in touch with friends of friends who may work for the airline. You never know who may hear about a recruitment process first. Stay in touch and exchange experiences. Ask them to let you know when they may be recruiting.
Engage on bulletin boards and ask questions. Experienced Flight Attendants frequent these places and are always willing to offer advice to new recruits. If you are an experienced Flight Attendant then help others follow their dreams.

Once all your research has been colmpeted, draw up a shortlist of the companies you want to work for. Find out who is responsible for the recruiting of cabin crew and send them a personal letter.

Look into companies such as Swan Heights who specialise in providing premium Flight Attendant training. As a complimentary service they also offer a placement solution such as the jobs listed on Flight Crew Finder.

The life of a cabin crew can be exciting, interesting and it will give you the opportunity to travel the world. Like most jobs, getting on the first step of the ladder can be hard but with some research and determination you can find yourself in the fastest moving industry in the world.

Flight Crew Finder is a company set up by Richard Yeomans and Karen Smallwood. Richard, flies for one of the world’s largest aircraft operators and has read thousands of CVs over the years, interviewed countless pilots and cabin crew and sat though very many simulator evaluations. The technical side of the company is Karen’s domain. Karen runs her own web development business and has the know-how to put the site and company together.

Flight instructor jobs stand for a highly ranked professional category which is certified to perform complex flying instruction tasks.

This professional stage requires long-term devotion, unlimited courage and passion for flying. Well-trained and experienced pilots usually get qualified to undergo the examination process for the CFI, a certificate issued by NAFI ( National Association Flight Instructor). Certified Flight Instructor requirements compose a particular rating which gathers the amount of flight hours (at least 250 flight hours), experience, the level of preparation and basic didactic skills. Flight instructor jobs are valuable openings only for certified instructors who previously have earned the CFI.

preliminary criteria to initiate flight instructor jobs opportunities

In order to enter the flight instructor certification process, the candidates should have attained the Commercial or Private Pilot level or should have earned the ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) certificate.

thorough examination sessions

The next stage is to pass a written test which assesses the Fundamentals of Instruction proper acquisition; once candidates have passed this level they qualify for oral examination session which focuses on Aeronautical Knowledge. The final exam is actually a test where the aspiring flight instructor is required to make prove of his flying expertise. In addition, the pedagogical approach is carefully examined.

look for attractive new flight instructor jobs

If you successfully complete the certification process, you will have the opportunity to discover new flight instructor jobs. Since airlines industry is expected to develop numerous job openings for the eight years as BLS (Bureau of Labour Statistics) has forecast, consequently the ongoing demand for qualified pilots will expand significantly flight instructor rankings. If you want to continue your pilot career you may decide for a part-time contract which ensures a high degree of flexibility and additional professional challenges.

All in all, flight instructor jobs provide less attractive financial packages in comparison with pilot openings especially for advanced position , yet, instructors are differently rewarded as they contribute to the preparation of next generation of well-trained pilots. According to the level of expertise, this certification is definitely an asset for every pilot’s resume and enlarges professional horizons within various divisions of the aviation (domestic and international flight, military aviation, academic branch).

Helicopter flight school training is a must if you want to become a pilot.

Well, if you have the dream of becoming a pilot, you certainly need to get into a helicopter flight school which can help you make your dream come true. First of all, you need to evaluate the reason you want to be a helicopter pilot. Being a professional pilot is an expensive matter and this is why you need to choose wisely. Take your time before committing to plan a career out of flying. Basic training and instruction will take you something around $5000.

The helicopter flight school will require you to pass the physical examination. All the aspiring pilots are required to pass the special physical examination in order to ensure that they can have a career made out of flying. Passing the test on physical grounds is not usually difficult, but before that you need to find a top helicopter flight school. Look for a local school or call the airports or heliports to guide you. You may even look online in the helicopter school directories for getting the localized results.

If you can’t find relevant information about a suitable helicopter flight school, call the local community colleges for the programs they offer on their list. This takes you a step ahead in grooming candidates for being commercial pilots. Locate a commercial helicopter flight school that specializes in your area of interest. For instance, the requirements of becoming government or law enforcement pilots are high. However, the ray of hope is about applying for special programs and grants that cover the costs of your schooling and training.

When it comes to helicopter flight school piloting training, Corporate and Electronic News Gathering is more relaxed. However, it also means being on call more often. Corporate training for helicopter flight school can take place anywhere such as pick up or drop offs for oil rigs, or even personal transportation for international companies. Any kind of career options are available for students who have the determination and urge of becoming a helicopter pilot.

The compensation or retirement benefits are high for the Vietnam War helicopter pilots. The need for replacing them with a new generation of well-educated pilots is also big, which accounts for the growing demand for helicopter flight school trainings. Once you have enrolled for a class, make sure that you do not to miss out any of them simply because pilots have a high sense of being responsible for the lives of their passengers.
